How It Works

AgeJET is a type of plasma device which utilises nitrogen gas to create a thermal injury deep within the skin. The plasma created preserves the outer layer of the skin, until new skin forms over the course of 10 days. Improvements in the surface of the skin appear soon after the treatment.

What is the duration of results?

3-12 months - results will improve over time.

Is there any downtime or aftercare?

While the downtime is minimal, in some areas and on certain skin types there can be some visable treatment marks between 4 -10 days. In time these will disperse to show improving results.

Are there any contraindications?
  • History of keloid scarring
  • Active skin infection
  • Broken skin in the treatment area
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Recent use of topical / oral steroids
  • Avoid retinol for 3 days prior to treatment (1-2 weeks for prescription grade)
  • Roaccutane (wait 6 months)
  • Vitliligo
  • Tanning products 1 week prior
  • Must have no active tan (wait 2 weeks post sun exposure)

Will I need anaesthetic?

No, not required.
