How It Works

How It Works

Dermal fillers work by adding volume beneath the skin to fill in wrinkles or areas of lost volume caused by aging. Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps retain moisture and create plumpness. Once injected, the filler supports and lifts the skin from underneath, restoring a smoother and fuller appearance. Results are immediate and can last from 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used and the treatment area.
