The treatment will cleanse and extract and dirt within the skin surface throughout the treatment, this will be clearly visable at the end of the treatment. The peeling agents involved in the treatment will take 3-6 days to take effect. These are very mild peels so any peeling of the skin surface will be minimal.

All over the face.

We advise a standard treatment to begin with but the the therapist will advise on a course of treatments for regular cleansing of the skin as part of a skin regime. For problematic skin types which may have acne or pigmentation this may take a number of sessions before results can be seen.

• Do not wash your face, shower or work out to produce sweat for at least 6 hours post peel. Water will reactivate the peel and drive it further into the skin.
• No chemical peels, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning for 2 weeks.
• You may experience redness for 2-4 hours post treatment, but it will subside.
• You may have flaking on the 2nd to 3rd day after treatment, and may last for 1-2 days. This is just additional dead skin cells that were released by the chemical peel.
• Do not pick at the peeling, except to remove the loose flakes.
• If unusual irritation persists more than 2 days, call our office for treatment.
• Cease use of Vitamin C, AHA.s, Glycolics and other chemical exfoliants for 2 days post treatment.
• Using sunscreen following treatment is mandatory.
  * Please use a sunscreen for at least 5-7 days following your treatment as your skin is now more exposed and more susceptible for damage immediately following the treatment.
• Please refrain from prolonged direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 2 weeks.
• It’s best to not put make up on immediately following the treatment, but it is fine to wear the next day. Using mineral make-up is preferred.
• To achieve maximum results, ongoing treatments and a daily home skincare program is recommended.

The results should last between 2-3 weeks, however continued regular treatments are recommended for problematic skin.

There is no downtime for this treatment, there is some slight redness due to an increase in blood circulation due to the treatment but this quickly disperses.

For precautionary reasons, we do not recommend having this treatment during pregnancy due to the ingredients contained in the peeling agents used alongside this treatment.
