Salicylic or Glycolic Red Carpet Peel
Salicylic and Glycolic peels are used to brighten, unclog and even out dulland congested skin. These peels incur no downtime making them perfectbefore a special occasion.
TCA or Vitamin A Treatment Peel
TCA and Vitamin A peels are used to target deeper, more specific skin concerns such as pigmentation, acne scarring and superficial laxity. The skin is prepared with a red carpet peel to unclog and remove oils and debris from the skin and then treated with these higher grade peels. They incur no downtime but you may experience dryness and light flaking for up to 7 days post peel.

How long does the treatment take?
Peel treatments take between 20 – 30 minutes. They are usually used in conjunction with the Collagenwave or Hydrafacial treatment.
What areas can be treated?
All areas of the face.
Is the treatment painful?
Our peels are very mild, there maybe a slight sensation on the face as we apply but nothing more than this.
When will I see results?
Improvements to your skin complexion can be seen on most clients 24 hours later.
What is the duration of results?
All the peels we offer a mild peels so very little peeling happens. A peel result may last fro up to 2 – 3 months but we do advise regular scheduled peels.
Is there any downtime or aftercare?
Minor peeling on the face, but nothing which can not be covered with make up 48 hours after.
Will I need anaesthetic?
No anaesthetic is needed for this procedure.
Are there any contraindications?
- Use of Accutane®, Retin-A®, or other medications that exfoliate or thin the skin within 6 months
- Recent cosmetic surgery, laser resurfacing, deep or medium depth chemical peels or dermabrasion
- Severe rosacea or acne
- Easily scars or has hyper-pigmentation tendencies
- Pregnancy – always consult with your obstetrician prior to receiving chemical peels
- Breast-feeding
- Sunburn or irritated skin
- Open sores or lesions
- Infectious disease
- Active Herpes simplex
- Diabetes
- High blood pressure
- Heart disease
- Deficient immune system
- Permanent cosmetics–wait 7 days then cover with occlusive barrier
